Lump breaker
The lump breaker is often build-in where the powder forms lumps which tend to block the continued process. Other times the lump-breaker is used to reduce the size of the particles to make subsequent mixing easier - thus the pulverizer can be an enabler of mixing.
Many situations can occur and the pulverizer may have to be tailored for the specific situation. Tekfa has been there and done that. Accordingly, Tekfa will often have a solution in the archive for your concrete problem.
The standard version consists of two rotating shafts that rotate in opposite directions. On the underside, the blades rotate down through a grid, thereby breaking down the lumps. Afterwards, the reduced particles fall through the grid. The tolerance between the blades and the grid determines the size of the reduced particles.
