JS Iris valve
JS Iris Valve is specifically designed for fitting to Big Bag discharge stations to allow controlled product discharge from Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC).
The JS Iris valve can also be used for in-line or open discharge applications, and is suitable for handling material densities up to 1000 Kg/m³. The valve has excellent flow control and is easily mounted to Big Bag stations, it is very quick and simple to use with controlled product discharge. Gentle, but sure cut off - saves material being wasted.
Technical specifications
- Material: Body parts are made of aluminium. Control ring of zinc aluminium, the Triggers of nylon and the fasteners are made from stainless steel
- Bore sizes: 300mm with hand lever and 380mm & 450mm with hand wheel
- Single diaphragm for dust tight closure
- Tapered valve inlet prevents damage to the bag and aids flow
- Multi-notched body for maximum flow control
- Concentric opening/closing for ideal flow characteristics
- Slim design
- Dust tight closure
- Fixing hole options allow the valve to be used in-line
- Option: Armourcote for harsh environments.
